List the home, not the framing
You took a listing on a home that is still being built. The only photos show studs and plywood. Buyers scroll past. Buildframe turns the builder's plans into photoreal stills and films of the finished design so you can market the home now.
What buyers look at first
In NAR's 2024 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, photos were the website feature buyers most often rated very useful. In Zillow's Consumer Housing Trends Report 2023, 72% of recent buyers agreed that 3D tours would give them a better feel for the space than static photos. A new build has neither real photos nor a tour. Renderings fill that gap until the home is complete.
What listing agents order
- Exterior stills for the lead image and the street view.
- Interior stills of the kitchen, living area and primary suite.
- A short photoreal film for social and listing video.
- A drone fly over when the lot or view is a selling point.
The artist's rendering label
This is not optional. A rendering shows a design, not a finished home. Label every rendering as an artist's rendering in the MLS and anywhere a buyer could mistake it for a photo. Check your MLS rules for how renderings must be marked and where they can appear. When the home is complete, replace renderings with photos.

Checked against the drawings
Buyers will compare the finished home to your marketing. So the renderings have to match the plans. We model from the builder's plan set and check it against the drawings before we render. We confirm room sizes, window positions, ceiling heights and rooflines. If we find a conflict, we flag it and ask. Finishes follow the selections the builder or seller gives us.
That keeps you from promising a view, a window or a finish the home will not have.
Working with the builder
Most agents get plans and selections from the builder. We can talk to the builder directly if that is easier. You stay in charge of the listing. The builder stays in charge of the design.
If the builder already has renderings from us, you may be able to use them. Ask the builder, then ask us.
Presell before completion
