See what the loan will build
A construction loan funds a home that does not exist yet. The borrower sees a dream. The credit team sees a plan set. Buildframe turns those plans into photoreal images so everyone can see the same home before the first draw.
Why lenders and loan officers use renderings
- Borrowers understand their project better when they can see it.
- Credit and review teams can picture the scope of a plan set quickly.
- Loan officers can show builder partners and referral sources what a finished project looks like.
- A clear image makes the conversation about the plans easier, not harder.
Renderings do not replace plans, specs, budgets or an appraisal. They sit next to them. A rendering shows a design, not a finished home, and it should be labeled as an artist's rendering.
What lenders and loan officers order
- Exterior stills that show the home as drawn.
- Drone fly overs that show the home placed on its lot.
- Interior stills for key rooms.
- Photoreal films for larger or more complex projects.
Checked against the drawings
For lenders, accuracy matters more than style. We model from the plan set and check the model against the drawings before we render. We confirm the footprint, rooflines, room sizes, ceiling heights and window and door positions. If the plan set conflicts with itself, we flag it and report it back to whoever sent the plans.
We also tell you what is drawn from the documents and what is our interpretation, such as landscape or surroundings that the drawings do not show.
For loan officers building a referral network
Builders and borrowers remember who helped them. A loan officer who can point a borrower to a way to see their home before they build adds value to the relationship. You can refer borrowers and builders to us. We quote them directly and handle the work.
Project types we see from lenders
- Custom homes financed with construction to permanent loans.
- ADUs added to an existing property.
- Barndominiums on rural land.
- Townhomes and small communities financed by developers.
Coming soon
The build sheet and cost matrix is in development. It will organize quantities from the checked model next to the builder's own pricing. It will not set prices or estimate costs. We think lenders will find a clear, plan based data sheet useful. Ask about early access when you send plans.
Confidential plans
Plans often come with borrower details. Send only what we need to render: the drawings and selections. We do not need loan terms, income data or personal financial information.
How quoting works
We review the plans first. Then we send a fixed quote and a delivery date. The size of the home and the number of views drive the work. See what drives rendering cost and what to send.
