One plan, every option, side by side
Most builders offer more than one look for a plan. Elevation A, B and C. A farmhouse front and a modern front. Three finish packages inside. Buyers struggle to picture the difference from a spec sheet. Buildframe renders each option from your drawings so buyers can compare them side by side.
What we render
- Elevation options: each facade you offer for the same floor plan.
- Exterior color schemes: brick, stone, siding, trim and roof combinations.
- Interior finish packages: flooring, cabinets, counters, tile and fixtures.
- Structural options: extended patios, added bedrooms, bonus rooms and similar plan changes, where your drawings show them.
We use one model for all options. The camera stays in the same spot. That way the only thing that changes is the option itself. Buyers see a true comparison.
Checked against the drawings
Each elevation has its own drawings, so each gets its own check. We confirm rooflines, window patterns, porch depths and material breaks against the elevation sheet for that option. For interior packages, we match your finish schedule item by item.
If an option drawing conflicts with the base plan, we flag it and ask. We never blend two options into one image.
Why options sell
When a buyer can see the option, they can choose it with confidence. That helps your design center. It also helps your sales team answer the question "what would it look like with the other front?" without a promise they cannot keep.
Where option renderings work
- Plan pages that let buyers switch between elevations.
- Design center screens and printed option boards.
- Community pages that show variety along a street.
- Plan range catalogs that show every plan and every look in one place.
Who orders option renderings
- Production builders with several elevations per plan.
- Developers and townhome communities with facade rules along a street.
- Prefab and modular companies that sell set packages.
- Architects and plan sellers who sell a plan with alternate fronts.
Label every option
An option rendering shows a design choice, not a built home. Label it as an artist's rendering in the MLS and in listings. Follow your MLS rules. Make clear which option is included and which is an upgrade.
Build on your existing work
If we have already rendered a plan for you, we can reuse that model. Adding options to an existing model is often simpler than starting fresh. We tell you what can be reused when we review your plans.
What to send
Send every elevation sheet you want rendered and your color and finish schedules for each package. Label them the way your sales team does so our files use the same names. See our what to send checklist.
Price and timing
We do not publish prices. The number of options, how different they are and how many views you need all change the work. We review your plans and options first. Then you get a fixed quote and a delivery date. Our cost guide explains what drives the work.
